Members

Members of our society encompass the range of mental health professionals from the disciplines of counseling, nursing, social work, psychology, and psychiatry. In addition, we have an academic tract which allows professionals from other disciplines to seek education and training and be full members of our society. The only basic requirement is an interest in psychoanalysis. We believe membership in our society to be beneficial whether you teach or take classes, attend lectures, or simply believe in psychoanalysis. Our teachers have dedicated many years to the practice and teaching of psychoanalysis. Anyone taking classes can be guaranteed an extremely diverse and inclusive curriculum.
The cost of membership, course work, or training, is extremely competitive when compared with other psychoanalytic societies. Our basic membership is $50.00 annually. Our classes range from $150 - $300 per class depending on the duration of the semester. Students receive a free membership, and the cost for a non practicing analysts is $25. Supervision and cost of training analysis when desired is arranged individually but consideration is given for the difficulty of attempting an educational program and continuing a practice simultaneously.
